IS1000® is ISD Education's Point-of-Sale solution for corporate
and hospital environments. ISD Education has provided quality point-of-sale
dining solutions for colleges, universities and K-12 schools for the past
13 years. IS1000® is designed specifically for the corporate &
hospital environments and provides a complete package of hardware and
software that is easy to use and provides flexibility for a variety of
applications, such as:
IS1000® will handle multiple sites or subsidiaries across a network.
Communications between the point-of-sale terminals can be direct-wired,
connected via modem, or network attached, depending on your particular
situation. If communications are temporarily interrupted, off-line recording
by the terminals prevents loss of data. The POS terminals are computers
featuring easy-to-read monitors and micro-motion keyboards. The learning
curve for your cashiers is less than one week, even if they have never
operated a computer or cash register before. IS1000® can use your existing employee identification badges or
they may be produced using an ISD Education identification/security card
system. You can design the cards yourself, and they can be used as ID
cards as well as meal cards using bar code, magnetic stripe and double
sided cards. Optionally, pictures taken by your personnel department and
imported into IS1000® can be displayed on ID cards and/or on register
screens. New employees and ID pictures can be added into the system at
any time. ISD Education will provide complete training for your cashiers and office
personnel at installation time, and will continue to provide ongoing support
after installation. IS1000® is a flexible system that can be adapted to any size corporation
